Now that we are a few weeks in to the new year I figured I should probably update the blog. At least with some pictures anyway! We made it through the holidays fairly healthy and the kids enjoyed Christmas...and of course got spoiled. We are trying to make it through winter and these cold spells with minimal sickness but Kane got hit with influenza last week. Poor kid looked rough but he bounced back pretty quickly. He's still enjoying and doing well in preschool and has endless energy....all the time! Landry is her goofy little self and is quite sassy at times. She likes to take Kane's toys or the remotes and run away from us....she must have learned that from someone else! She loves playing with her brother but will let him know when she's had enough of him.
I started a new job at the end of October and now work mostly in Carroll. I still work in the nursing home setting so it wasn't too much of a switch for me. I am working on trying to stay in shape as I have to fit into a bridesmaid dress in July for my sister's wedding!! We are all very happy for her and Jake and can't wait for the wedding/party! Cory has been doing CrossFit and loves it. He hopes to maybe enter a competition for it in the future. It has been a year now since his spinal fusion surgery so he's glad to be pain free and active again. We hope all is going well in everyone else's worlds. Stay tuned and enjoy some pictures.....
