5 months!

Where have the past 5 months gone!? The holidays are creeping up too fast and Kane is growing up too fast! He is such a little busy body. We can tell he wants to crawl so badly but he can't quite figure out it just yet. He has become very good at rolling around though. He still loves his jumperoo but get's frustrated after a while (I think because he jumps and jumps but always stays in one place). He also gets mad when he can't get the toys in his mouth! We are working on sitting up too, he can make it a couple of seconds on his own but then topples over. He's getting closer though! He has gotten quite the personality and Dad says he has Mom's temperament. I'll let everyone else figure out what that might be! =)

We have started giving Kane cereal 2 times a day now and he loves it. We can't feed him fast enough, as you can tell from the video. We can't wait to see how he reacts to other foods once we start them. He has become very interested in what we are doing when we eat our meals now. He still likes his paci but finds his thumb and fingers occasionally. He likes to blow bubbles too and once he finds a new sound he will repeat it often. He is also now trying to imitate some of the sounds we make as well. He sleeps fairly well. Through the night for the most part unless he wakes up and wants his paci. He is an early bird which is ok during the week, but we don't get to sleep in on the weekends much. Ever since the time change he has been wide awake at 5:30am! The upcoming holiday season will be very busy as usual but we are excited for Kane to meet family that haven't seen him yet. I guess that is all I can think of right now...seems like he does so much and changes every day it's hard to keep up! It will only get crazier once he gets movin! The plan was to have a family super hero theme but that didn't pan out as planned. The costume we got for Kane ended up being too small. I guess that's what we get for buying it early! Oops! He was supposed to be Spiderman Baby, Mom was Bat girl and Dad was of course Batman. Batman's outfit was too hot so he ended up going as a Minnesota Vikings fan! Next year Kane will get to enjoy trick or treating too!
