28 weeks

How far along?  28 weeks and 2 days
Total weight gain/loss?  Up 16 pounds
Maternity clothes?  Still not there yet.  Just bigger sizes in regular clothes...thanks to the summer styles this year.
Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep?  Sleeping ok, but not as soundly as I used to.  Also having some strange dreams.
Best moment last week? Kane using my belly as a race track for his cars and him talking to her.
Movement? Yep...she gets a little crazy sometimes.
Food cravings? Sweet stuff
Gender? Baby Girl
Labor signs? Nope
Belly button in/out? Still in, but the top of it pokes out a little bit.
What I miss: Cooler weather!
What I am looking forward to: Enjoying the last few weeks of being "comfortable" before baby starts running out of room.
Milestones: I am now in the 3rd trimester!

2012 4th of July at Poppy & Nana's

The Minnesota gang came down to celebrate the 2012 4th of July in Iowa, family fun

ensued and it was epic. Pictures below of the fun.

24 Weeks

We took this at 6:30am before daycare, I don't think Kane was awake yet!

How far along?  24 weeks and 2 days
Total weight gain/loss?  Up 12 pounds
Maternity clothes?  Not yet, but wearing bigger sizes or just not buttoning some of my pants!
Stretch marks? It seems like the ones I had from having Kane are trying to peek out.
Sleep?  Still sleeping ok except for waking up to pee and the occasional Charlie horse (ouch!)
Best moment last week? Getting to see the baby on the ultrasound again.
Movement? Definitely feeling it now.  
Food cravings? Still nothing unusual.  I get fuller faster but still liking sweets more than usual. 
Gender? After the ultrasound, the Dr is now 95% sure it's a GIRL!
Labor signs? No
Belly button in/out? Still in
What I miss: A swimming suit that fits
What I am looking forward to: Preparing for baby now that we know it's a Girl and enjoying the next few months as a family of 3.
Milestones: Baby is now the size of an ear of corn....hence the wonderful drawing on the chalkboard!

What I am looking forward to? moving all of those skinny jeans down a shelf!
