Here is his open mouth, half smile. You can kind of see the dimple.

Before the Dr. appt today. Snuggling with Daddy!

He likes to stick his tongue out too!

Big smile for Mom.

Such a big boy! Sitting in the Bumbo for the first time.
I can't believe our baby is 2 months old already! The time has flown by! We took Kane in for his 2 month check up today and he's doing great. He is 12 lbs 14 oz and 23.5 inches long. He is in the 75th percentile for both. He's happy and healthy, so we must be doing something right! Kane as been smiling like crazy now (especially in the mornings and at Mom and Dad). He also has found his voice and makes all sorts of fun sounds and makes silly expressions. We think that he might also be close to rolling over soon, he sure is active when he's on his tummy, on his back or when you're holding him. He LOVES to look at lights, fans, anything bright and up above him. We have lots of fun with him! We did notice a couple weeks ago that he was getting sort of fussy after eating so we took him in and he was diagnosed with a little bit of acid reflux so we give him medicine for that. It seems to have helped and the Dr. said he should grow out of it by 6 months. He also has been sleeping great for the past couple of nights (hopefully I didn't just jinx myself!). He has been sleeping 7 hours and I am getting about that much sleep as well! We'll see how tonight goes though since he had shots today at his appointment! (That was not very fun to watch, but Dad came with and Kane did very well! Only shed a few tears!) We have also been doing a little traveling lately. Last weekend we went to Des Moines to visit the grandparents and for Mom and Dad to do a little shopping. Kane did great in the car rides and had fun visiting his grandparents. We will be heading to Des Moines again this weekend for Mom and Dad to go to the Iowa State Fair (I think Mom is a little more excited than Dad!). I have to go back to work in 4 weeks so I'm trying to enjoy the rest of the time I have left. It seems to be going so much faster now that he's more alert and active. I'm not looking forward to it yet so let's just not talk about it! Anyway, that's all the info that my brain is allowing me to think of at this moment so I will leave you with some pictures (above). Enjoy until next time! =)
