Our little man is growing so fast! Can't believe he is 8 months old already! It seems like he has accomplished so much just within the past month. He has one tooth now, and another one trying to come in. Teething hasn't been the best experience for us though. For the past couple of weeks Kane has been waking up frequently throughout the night. It seems like we have tried a lot of suggestions for teething pain but at night he just is not comfortable. During the day he is fine. Last night was a little bit better so hopefully this 2nd tooth breaks through and we can all get our sleep again. It also hasn't helped that he has been sick a couple of times in the past few weeks as well. The poor kid currently is battling an ear infection and about 2 weeks ago he was dealing with a sinus infection. Lots of boogers, lots of kleenex, a sore little nose and a sad little boy. I guess the first infection never fully cleared so hopefully this round will knock it out. He is definitely feeling better but since Kane is always on the go, you can always tell when he's not feeling the best.
Kane is our little noisemaker as you can see in the videos below. He loves to make sounds and talk to us. He still loves his jumperoo and also is attempting to dance whenever he hears music (note the 80's songs he is dancing to in the videos!). He is usually moving non-stop, he has figured out how to pull up to stand and is reaching for everything now. A couple of times he has gotten brave enough to let go when standing, but went down on his butt pretty quick. I'm sure he'll be taking steps in no time...then we're really in for it, especially Roxy! He loves his puppy! He has also finally started to crawl on his hands and knees instead of just on his tummy, although he still goes a lot faster on his tummy. He's still a very good eater and isn't too picky about what we give him. He LOVES his puffs!
Time just goes by too quickly with this little guy! We take him in again next month when he's 9 months old so we will have stats then. Last week when we took him to the Dr. he was 19lbs! Anyway, stay tuned for more fun happenings and enjoy the pictures and videos!
Look what I can do!
The paci says "I love Grandma", he likes to put it in upside down.
