TEAM COREN: A long overdue update....

Well....where do I start? I have been slacking on the blog front but don't worry, I'm back! I was pretty good about updating every month, at least with the important stuff (pictures of Kane) but last month I didn't have very many pictures and we were also trying to keep a little secret from everyone. Now most of you know what that secret is, but if not, here it is....Baby #2 is on the way and is due in October!!! Kane is going to be a big brother and we are all very excited! Well at least Mommy and Daddy are, not sure if Kane quite gets it yet. I am 13 weeks along right now and feeling pretty good. I don't have any inklings yet on what the sex of the baby might be because I'm feeling about the same as I did with Kane. We have heard quite a bit from others though that it is going to be a girl. And yes we do plan to find out when the time arrives because we are just that impatient! We will be sure to keep the updates coming on how everything is going along the way.

On a sad note, because we are expecting #2 we had to make the hard decision to give up our silly little pug Roxy. The poor dog was never getting enough attention as it was and we knew with another baby she would be getting even less of it. She basically needed another playmate and we weren't about to get another dog! We spoke with the pug breeder that we got Roxy from 3 years ago and she was able to take her back for us. She told us that Roxy has done great and we have trained her well. We were sad to let her go, but knew that it would be better to do it now rather than later. We know she will be taken care of where she is and is getting all the love and attention that she deserves. We will miss her though!

Kane is as active as ever and always keeps us on our toes. He is getting closer to 2 years old which just seems crazy. He is doing very well in daycare and seems to learn something new every day. He is a little chatter box and copies just about everything we say so we have to be careful. He loves to be outside so we are all glad that the nice weather is finally here so he can get outside and burn off some of that energy! We are looking forward to doing some fun activities this summer before #2 arrives and spending as much time as we can with our only child before we become a family of 4.

I feel like I'm probably forgetting quite a bit, but hopefully the pictures make up for the lack of words. I will try to be better about updating more often!
