TEAM COREN: Summer Fun! (Warning: Picture Overload!)

Just like the title says, we have been busy enjoying these wonderful summer days! The kids (not to mention Mom and Dad) love to be outside. We have traveled the last couple of weekends to MN and DSM but we try to get some time outside, even if it's just for a quick walk, as long as it's not raining! The kids definitely have their mom's skin tone as even though we slather them with 70+ sun screen they still get a tan after about a half hour outside!
Landry turned 9 months old last week and is constantly on the go, just like her brother! We don't get to sit much anymore. She still gets around better by army crawling but is very quick and she is pulling herself up to stand on just about anything she can find. She has gotten brave enough to let go a couple of times but gets so excited and proud of herself when she does it.
Both kids went in for checkups last week and turned out great. Right on track! Kane is still just as active as ever and I think I probably say that in every blog! He still says Landry is his best friend and is such a good big brother, even though he gets a little to excited and doesn't quite understand that she is still little and can't play like his friends at daycare yet. I'm waiting for the day when she hits him back to see what he thinks about that! He probably won't think she's his best friend then!
Cory and I did The Color Run last weekend in DSM and it was a blast! See the pictures below if you don't know what it is! We are having a good time doing these 5K's together as well as getting some golf in whenever we can, but pretty much just enjoying these quickly passing summer days with the kids (but also secretly counting down the days until our trip to Mexico!)
My brain is blanking and losing any remaining wittiness (if there was any to begin with) tonight so please enjoy the slew of pictures until next time!
