32 weeks...already!

We had our appointment with Dr. Lo this past Friday at like 3:00. Dr. Lo is a funny man, he was talking to us in his random thought process leading us down different paths with each sentence. I tried to follow along, of course I threw in a few joke attempts, which he actually caught this time and he even made laughs with us about the little soccer kids trying to run with shin guards on. (we saw him at Ayden's soccer game)

Anyways, he is a great guy and always makes us comfortable and we enjoy each visit. Ok, so the ultrasound went well. Dino baby, as he is now called, is head down! This makes mama Lauren very happy and now she has one less thing to worry about. He had his hands over his face when Dr. Lo tried a quick 3D peak, he has been that way a few times with the ultrasounds, Lauren and I both sleep with our arms up. So we did not get to see his face, which was ok since we both kind of didn't know what we were looking at anyways. He quickly switched back to the regular ultrasound, and continued to look at all the organs and other different grayish-white things, and all is looking very well! He was an active little guy as always, moving around in his cramped little abode and even had the hiccups while we were watching which was pretty cute!

As of right now he is 3.5lbs and is predicted to be 9-10lbs at birth. Not really, jokes there, gullible ones, he is predicted to be about 7.5lbs. You can see his hands in front of his face in the 3D ultrasound pictures, and the regular pictures are a frontal picture of his head with one fist and and arm. Another pic, well, let's just say we DEFINITELY know he's a boy. I also will post a video of Dino baby's room as it is coming together quite nicely, It is filling up with things we have purchased and all the wonderful gifts mama received this past weekend at her Iowa baby shower! Aunt Claire did a great job putting it together and Lauren had a great time. Mama and I head to Minnesota this coming weekend to have a great shower with our MN friends and family, we are very excited! We started experimenting with the bubbles we are going to be putting up once we get the letters in for his name, which we have picked now. His name is not Dino, Carlos, or Leon as I have called him in past posts, it is, however, drum roll please........Avatar.

Again, I am kidding, we are letting people know his name in June when he is born, but I did buy Avatar the movie this weekend and it is freakin awesome!

Lauren here...
I just wanted to talk a little bit about the wonderful shower that was thrown for me this weekend. My sister did a great job and everything turned out great. She followed a "sea creature" theme which matched very well with the bedding that we picked out for the baby. She was especially proud of the balloons that she found, which I might add were very very large. Too big for us to bring home with us since our car was full of the goods we were given. The guests got to decorate bibs and we also played the "guess which melted chocolate bar now looks like poop in the baby diaper" I did really bad, only 1 right out of 5! It was great getting to visit with everyone as well. So a big thank you goes out to Claire for hosting a great shower and thanks to my mom also for helping! And of course thank you to everyone for coming and making it a special day!
