Kane's 1st Christmas....

I can't believe Christmas is over already! Well, the actual holiday anyway...we still have a couple more family celebrations coming up. We have had 3 already! Thursday the 23rd we went to Missouri Valley to see my mom's side. Kane got to meet his cousin Chase who is about 2.5 months younger, weighs about the same and has a full head of hair! It was fun seeing them together. I made the mistake of not bringing my camera so you'll have to check out Facebook to see if my any pictures of this meeting are posted. We came back to Carroll that night and my mom and sister stayed here with us. Christmas eve we celebrated with my mom and stepdad and had our annual steak and crab legs...yummy! Then Christmas day my dad came up and we had the always wonderful taco bar! Fish tacos AND regular tacos...my dad only knows how to cook for an army so we'll be eating tacos for the next week! =)
The weather didn't get too crazy so everyone was able to travel safely. Kane got tons of great gifts...lots of new toys to play with! We got him a bubble maker to use in the bathtub but when we tried it last night he was scared of it! He actually was on the verge of tears! In his defense, it wasn't the quietest thing in the world. All in all it was a great Christmas and we are so glad that we could all spend it together. We had a lot of fun and Kane's 1st Christmas was a success. He didn't act too interested in the wrapping paper but he enjoyed the bows and tissue paper. This week we have my stepdad's family Christmas and Saturday we have Cory's family Christmas. The weekend after is our last one, the Rhoten Christmas (my dad's side). Cory will be posting video of Christmas and a couple other things and here are some pictures as usual! =)
