1/2 Birthdays DO count!

It's hard to believe that our little girl has been here for half a year already!  It just amazes me how fast these kids change and grow!  Landry seems to pick up on something new every day (mostly from watching her brother), and Kane is a little sponge and retains just about everything he sees.  Our days are rarely at a stand still and with the few nice days we have had, we enjoy being outside using our SUV of a double stroller.  By the way Mother Nature, what have we all done to make you so mad???  Please, please, please bring us back those 70 degree temps!
Now that Landry is learning to be a bit more mobile (rolling all over the place), Kane is starting to realize that she likes his toys more than her own.  We may have a little tom boy on our hands if that continues!    He does pretty well sharing with her, but needs reminded every once and a while that she's still a baby.  He just loves his baby sister and she is so fascinated by him.
Landry had her 6 month checkup yesterday and she is doing great.  She is eating veggies and cereal now and sometimes we can't feed her fast enough.  She is still a happy little thing and usually only gets mad if she's hungry or tired.  She has also discovered her voice and makes some of the funniest noises.
Kane is still a very active toddler.  There is a little girl at daycare named Sophie and they have the same birthday.  He says she is his best friend.  They are pretty much inseparable and play together all the time at "preschool" as Kane calls it.  They have been able to play outside a few times, but I know everyone is anxious for some consistent warmer days!
Cory and I are preparing for the remodel on our house to start (we are expanding our small laundry room out into a mud room).  Hopefully it won't take too long once it starts as I won't have access to my washer and dryer!  We are also getting ready to run a 5k next Saturday.  It is the Glow Run in Des Moines.  It's an evening race with black lights on the course so clothing, etc glows in the dark.  It should be a good time.
Enough blabbing, now time for pictures!
Enjoying his movie on the trip to MN
