TEAM COREN: 3 years old & 8 months old

That's right! We now have a 3 year old! Kane's birthday was on Monday so we had our own little birthday celebration for him and this Saturday we are having a party. I don't know if Mommy or Kane is more excited for Saturday! I rarely get a chance to "entertain" at our house, so I usually go a little overboard with food (thank you Pinterest), so stay tuned for more pics from the party. Kane is growing up so fast and is sometimes too smart for his own good! He keeps us and his sister entertained. He loves being outside so it's great that the weather has been nice. We have yet to make it to the outdoor pool but we are hoping to get there soon. We are hoping the weather cooperates for the party on Saturday as well so Kane can show off his new basketball hoop (our present to him).
Little miss Landry is 8 months old. I looked back on the blog at when Kane was this age and it is crazy how similar they are! Even watching her reminds me of how he was, so I'm sure once she can catch up to him we will be very busy! She is sure trying hard already to do what he does. She still is army crawling but can get anywhere quite quickly. She's a great eater and of course loves her puffs. Those things are like baby crack! She has 2 bottom teeth now and seems to be acting like there are more coming in but she won't let us feel for them (I guess I can't blame her!). She is such a happy baby and sleeps well. She is starting to make more noises/sounds as you'll see in the video below ;) She lets us know when she's hungry or tired but otherwise is just content to be around her brother, or at least his toys. It's just amazing how fast the time goes by and how quickly these little people change!
We had another birthday milestone in our house at the end of May...I turned 30! We celebrated a few days ahead of time and got to have a date day/night filled with golf, movie and lunch/dinner out. We will also be celebrating in September in Mexico! YAY! Cory and I also ran another 5K a couple of weeks ago...the Dam to Dam in Des Moines. It was a good race and we look forward to our next one in July. Other than that we just love spending time with the kids, especially getting them outside! The summer isn't too busy but we will be traveling a bit and going to a couple of weddings.
